What's your favorite summer time food?

As of late I've been getting into the pasta salad mood. It's cold, refreshing, filling and I can much on it throughout the week. I love cold slaw, but I've never attempted to make my own. The store bought slaw tastes like complete yuck! ( o _ 0 ) Does anyone have a decent slaw recipe that you don't mind sharing with me? Thanks in advance.
